Ivydene was not a dental practice in the past, as it stands today. Decades ago there was a taxi business, post office and a hotel on the same premises. Ivydene came into existence  in the year 1960, when Dr Peter Horswill, opened up a few dental practices and let them out. Peter Horswill was the principal dentist in the practice until 1980.  It was then passed over to Dr Tim Mills who took over the practice from 1981. Dr Mark Inman joined  as an associate dentist in 1997. Dr Mark Inman  qualified as a dentist in April 1991 from Birmingham university and after a few years of practicing as an associate dentist at Ivydene, he bought the practice from Dr Tim Mills in 2001. Mark grew the practice and over the years gradually increased the number of surgeries from 2 to 5, giving Ivydene a much bigger existence than it had before. He actively helped training VT dentists by mentoring them and built up his team. In June 2022 he decide to reduce his responsibilities as a practice owner and pass the baton to a group of skilled, enthusiastic dentists. Mark however continue to passionately practice dentistry as an associate now. The current proud owners Dr Rujuta, Dr Ketan, Dr Bhavika and Mr Sachin aim to go a step further to maintain the good repute of the practice. They have introduced various new dental treatments in the general interest of all our patients and their vision remains to introduce advanced dental care and digital technologies in the years to come. Today Ivydene is a team of 6 practice owners, 5 associate dentists, 12 receptionist/ nursing staff, 2 hygienists and 2 therapists who work very hard in maintaining high standards of compliance and quality dental care to all our patients.
